Randi Willisko
Head Coach - Junior Age Group Squad
Randi is entering her third year as the Junior Age Group Coach, the second year as the Head Coach for Club Development and her fifth season with the University of Calgary Swim Club. Randi was awarded the Swim Alberta Development Coach of the Year as voted by the Alberta Coaches Council for the 2003-2004 swimming season.
Randi began her swimming career with the Kamloops Aquatic Club at the age of 11. She moved into coaching after graduating high school in 1996 and spent four seasons with Kamloops Classic Swimming coaching a wide range of swimmers from developmental to provincial medalists.
In September of 2001, Randi moved to Calgary to attend Mount Royal College in the Child and Youth Counseling program. For two years, 2002-2004, she worked with children with special needs at Renfrew Education Services with a main focus on Behavior Intervention with autistic children.

In her time with the University of Calgary Swim Club, Randi has coached swimmers to the provincial and national level. She has had many provincial finalists and medalists and a national finalist.
Adam Martinson
Assistant Coach, Junior Age Group Squad
Adam is entering his first year coaching with the University of Calgary Swim Club, assisting Randi Willisko with the Junior Age Group squad.
Adam began swimming competitively at the age of 6 while living in Saudi Arabia. In 1997 his family returned to Calgary and he became a member of the Cascade Swim Club. He eventually progressed to the University of Calgary Swim Association and swam there until he graduated high school in 2002. Upon graduation, Adam was offered a full athletic scholarship to swim for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He competed for UNLV for 4 years and was team captain for his final two years leading the team to their first and second ever Mountain West Conference Championship titles. Graduating from UNLV Summa Cum Laude in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and biology, Adam is currently a master’s student at the University of Calgary in environmental science.
Adam’s athletic highlights include a bronze in the 200 back at the 2003 World Championship Trials, fourth and fifth place finishes in the 200 and 100 back at the 2004 Canadian Olympic Trials, and UNLV school records in the 200 back and 400 medley relay.
