Kevin Anderson
N2 Head Coach
University of Calgary Swim Club
Kevin
brings a very diverse background and knowledge to the University of
Calgary Swim Club. Kevin has competed in the Ironman Canada
competition, was a Physical Education and Recreation Instructor with
the Canadian Forces, is qualified as a NCCP Level 3 Swimming Coach,
NCCP Level 3 Volleyball Coach, and NCCP Level 1Track and Field Coach,
and he previously owned his own Personal Training Studio for 7 years.
Outside of his swimming coaching experience he has also assisted with
the Canadian Forces National Volleyball and Triathlon teams. His
commitment to excellence and to the success of his athletes and team is
unquestionable.
He was accepted into the National Coaching
Institute for the 2 year diploma program for high performance coaching
starting in September 2007 which will enable Kevin to complete the NCCP
Level 4 program. During the 2006-2007 season Kevin placed 5 swimmers on
the Alberta North American Challenge Cup team 4 swimmers on the Alberta
Western Canada Games Team and was a coach for Team Alberta at both
competitions.
Kevin was also a former City Councillor in his previous municipality.

Champions, have won 3 National Titles and represented Canada at major
international competitions.

- 15-17 Boys National Age Group 4X100M.R. Record in 2007
- 3 Individual 15-17 Boys National Age Group Records set under Coach Anderson (100/200fly s.c. and 100fly l.c.)
- 4 Alberta Provincial Records set during the 2007-2008 season
Kevin has also had success out of the pool producing one of the top Ironman amateurs in Canada, Angela Lilly:
