Children First
6 years ago, I committed to providing a good deal of my annual gross income to childrenÂ’s charities throughout the city and those more underprivileged. As such, I have worked directly with and for Hull Family Services in fund raising, mentoring, and development. I also actively work with ARBI (Alberta Rehabilitation of Brain Injured) and Even Start (a fresh start for single mothers with prior issues).
Supporting these groups annually allows me to focus on how fortunate we all are and how important it is to allow children to be children. This includes safe play areas, safe parenting, and most of all, a fun and exciting way for a child to grow and develop. After all, it is our children that we all cherish the most and owe the most to. Again, thank you Calgary Swim Club for allowing me this opportunity and I look forward to further sponsorships in the years ahead.
